Artist Biography


From early childhood, creativity in its many forms has been at the core of Judy's artistic journey.

Formal education in art began at Central Tech in Toronto ON Canada. This formidable, intensive 3 year post secondary art education gave Judy a well rounded foundation in visual art.

At OCAD University, majoring in illustration, Judy had the opportunity to learn from some of the most highly respected international artists. This later influenced her fine art paintings.

Judy worked in the advertising field as a graphic designer and illustrator for many years. In addition, she taught graphic design, digital illustration and rotoscoping at Fanshawe College in London ON for four years before moving to the Halton Region in 2007.

At ease with watercolor, oil and digital media as well as being involved in advertising, keeps this artist in constant flux. Her subject matter ranges from landscape to figurative. She also continues to teach and paint.
