Art and Architecture are the two things that have been a constant interest to Patricia throughout her life. Geometric shapes attract her attention and inspire her to explore their relationship to one another.
Patricia started drawing and later moved on to oil painting and acrylics. Next it was painting in watercolour. Her current works are in mixed media & collage.
Born in Winnipeg, Patricia was introduced to art at an early age. Over the years, she joined local art groups and studied fine arts at White Rock Summer School of Art and Sheridan College.
Prior to being awarded her AFCA from the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2001, she received awards for her paintings in the Federation Experimental Shows in 1998 and 1999. In 2003 Patricia was elected to membership in the Society of Canadian Artists.
Patricia’s art hung in three galleries in Vancouver. Her paintings are in collections in Canada, the US and Europe.
