Stephen King

A new novel by Stephen King entitled “11/22/63” – the date that John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas Texas, is a work different from his other books in the fact the reader has a real – and very significant historic character to relate to JFK.

It is also different in the fact it’s devoid of the excessive blood and carnage many have come to expect from King’s earlier novels, even though he has been veering away from gore in more recent books.

Paul Irish of the Toronto Star said “it is the Author’s time-travel epic - a change of pace” and went on to say “Call it The Twilight Zone colliding with Camelot”.

Stephen King’s latest offering “11/22/63” (Scribner) deals with time travel through a portal in Lisbon Falls, Maine.

It is very intriguing and a very good read. It is already being considered to become a film in the near future with Jonathan Demme hoping to write, direct and produce an adaptation of this book.
