FRACTALS: Paintings displayed in the living room slideshow is the result of many years of searching. The challenge was to let loose and understand on a personal level what seperates the Canadian Landscape from other geographic locations when expressed through the visual arts.
Stripping away what I learned and what is popular, a time came where the past no longer served a purpose. By allowing my hand to guide me subconsciously I learned what was always with me.
The fliud lines and shapes defined as fractals can be observed in my subject matter. This opened new possibilites and exciting challenges.
Canadian Landscapes energize me, they give me peace and I feel centered.
